The UKCA DoP (Declaration of Performance) is a required certificate of conformity for construction products sold to the UK market leaving the European Union. This document is issued to guarantee the conformity and performance of construction products to European Union conformity standards. The UKCA DoP came into effect from 1 January 2021 and replaces the CE marking used to demonstrate conformity of products.

In order for a product to receive a UKCA certificate of conformity, its technical specifications and performance must be determined, as well as its conformity with conformity assessment procedures. The manufacturer must apply to an independent testing organization to obtain a UKCA DoP certificate for its products and must prove that its products comply with the standards. This document is extremely important to ensure the safety and conformity of products in the construction industry.
